I have a new website! Please have a look here. I was getting pretty frustrated with my old site. Having pieced it together painfully while doing Dreamweaver tutorials online (I didn't have much idea what I was doing!), it was time-consuming to update and maintain. I have recently changed web hosts and found a great company who provide a very user-friendly content management system and a template with a huge amount of flexibility to tailor to your own particular aesthetic and taste. (Visit virb.com to find out more.) Anyway, here are some screen shots of my site.

I have been temping in North Melbourne these last three weeks to keep the money rolling in. It has been COLD. Despite missing my studio time, I've been enjoying walking to and from the workplace in my duffle coat with rainclouds overhead and leaves underfoot. (proof below)

In sketchbook news, I am rather happy with this bison. Georgia has promised to try and take a Lomo photo of some bison while she is in the US. It's not that I am particularly enamoured with bison. But they are large and still. And there is something peaceful about that.

Life is full of new experiences, small though they may be. For example, I have never before sat in my studio at 11.11pm on a Friday evening listening to Vashti Bunyan and eating an undersized mandarin while receiving text messages from America where twisters are touching down. Not until now that is.
Keeps things pretty fresh when you think about it like that...
ciao
The new site looks great!
